“As Pressing as the Economic Dimension of [Amnesty] is, the Political Ramifications are Even More Startling”

Posted by Nicholas Stix

The following comment was left at Peter Brimelow’s WND column,
“Amnesty Means More Plutocrat Plundering.” I urge all readers to go there, vote on comments, and leave their own. Never assume that “everyone knows” these arguments. People have to hear them, again and again.

It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men.

Samuel Adams
In this case, we have the luxury of having the vast majority of Americans on our side. However, we need to spur their wills to follow their minds.

This is good start for Brimelow and WND. However, as pressing as the economic dimension of immigration is, the political ramifications are even more startling. Take the recent IRS and AP scandals, for example. Despite revelations that America's second most powerful executive department - second only to the department of defense - has been targeting opposition groups for harassment and despite knowledge that Holder's "Justice" department has been spying of Fox journalist James Rosen and fellow AP journalists, Obama's approval rating remains break even. Astounding. Rightfully, his job approval rating should have declined. It hasn't.

Excuse makers may claim that lack of public attention is to blame. Perhaps, to a degree. But the ethnic breakdown of Obama's approval rating is telling. White Americans do not give him a positive rating. A few months ago, his white approval was at 38%. It stands to reason that it's pretty much the same now. As such, Obama's job approval is being inflated by minorities who are approving not of his job but of his skin color. As immigration continues, these people will increase in number, increasing the unaccountability of the autocrats who rule the country. Increasingly, scandals will go unpunished, setting a precedent for more corruption and more scandals (see South Africa as an example). "Amnesty means more plutocrat plundering." It also means more autocrat unaccountability.

No matter what, we must press on. Gun ownership would have been eviscerated decades ago if the Communist-Democrats in the news media were to be believed with their anti-gun Pollaganda. According to the American Rifleman magazine, NRA membership stands close to 5 million. That's real bare knuckle political power.

Truth Teller is exactly right. Obama's approval rating never has gone below around 45%. Nonwhites, along with a certain amount of white liberals (DWLs), back him no matter what.

Benghazi and the IRS scandal means nothing to such people. If anything, it makes nonwhites and DWLs like Obama even more.
